Dallas Youth Improv Festival presents Cheese Quesadilla and Generic Laundry Detergent

March 28 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
$10 and up

At the second annual Dallas Youth Improv Festival, March 27-29, young performers can laugh, learn, and connect at Stomping Ground Comedy. The weekend will feature comedy shows by local youth improv teams, a jam for all skill levels, and opportunities for young people to meet other young comedians.

The 3 pm show features two Stomping Ground Youth Improv House Teams- Cheese Quesadilla and Generic Laundry Detergent.

Prepare to be delighted by our youngest team of performers, Generic Laundry Detergent. This team features a talented troupe of performers aged 10 to 13 who are proof that you don’t need a driver’s license to be a comedic genius. Watch as these quick-thinking performers take your wildest suggestions and turn them into instant, hilarious stories right before your eyes. Generic Laundry Detergent features Zaid Watkins, Sophie Kitner, Camden Graham, Elle Baum, Miles Cernoch, and Lorelei Motley. They are coached by Hayden McGovern.

Cheese Quesadilla is a high-energy improv troupe composed entirely of high school-aged performers who prove that teenage angst is much funnier when it’s unscripted. Expect a unique blend of Gen Z wit, pop culture deep dives, and the fearless energy of performers who aren’t afraid to look ridiculous. Cheese Quesadilla features Audie Snell, Vysa Long, Jackson Norlin, Piper Cornell, and Alex Clarkson. They are coached by John Gerhardt.
