Spend the summer in Dallas at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater going from zero to improv! In this three-weekend summer intensive, students will first learn the skills needed to get out of their own ways and be spontaneous on stage. Students will then apply these skills to improvised scene work, learning how to write on their feet, creating characters and situations that matter on the fly. Finally, students will learn how to really act without a script, broadening and deepening their emotional choices and learning to be affected in scenes. Each weekend will culminate in a Sunday night showcase for family and friends. There is no prerequisite for these classes, and all skill levels are welcome!
