This seven week writing intensive course will build on the principles of comedy writing with a focus on writing premise-based sketches. Students will learn how to develop strong premises and heighten them over the course of a scene. In the second half of the course, students will edit and punch up their material. This course culminates in a two night run of shows. Prerequisite for this class is Sketch Level One at Stomping Ground or any Training Center or equivalent experience with permission of the Training Center Director. This is a writing intensive course with one to two hours of writing per week expected outside of class.

This is a recurring class for seven weeks on Thursdays from 7-9:30pm starting Thursday, September 8th. The instructor is Lindsay Goldapp All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future class. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older.
