Stomping Ground Throwdown: Head to Head Improv Battles

Join us at Stomping Ground this Fall for the annual SG Throwdown! Watch as local improv teams go head to head and battle it out to crown an all-around improv champion. Two improv teams compete each night and the audience will crown the ultimate winner; so come support your favorite improvisers!

The August 29 bout is between Just a Burger and The Drawing Room!

More About the Teams:

Just a Burger is a group of talented improvisers with wild choices and funny delivery. Their use of the JTS Brown is hilarious and fun to watch. You’ll laugh as you take in the chaos in motion come together hilariously. Just a Burger features Jamaal Johnson, Jenny Cho, Clayton Howard, Geetha George, Adam Young, K. E., and Jackie Garry.

The Drawing Room brings the Regency drama and delights of Bridgerton and Jane Austen to the stage in an improvised play. Watch scandals, secrets, romances, and betrayals unfold! The Drawing Room features Hannah Hayes, Nan Kirkpatrick, Kimber Martin, Hayden McGovern, Andrew Missel, Iannë Warshawsky, Jessica West, and Milo Wilder.

• September 6 at 7:30 pm: August 23 Round 1 Winner vs August 29 Winner
• September 12 at 7:30 pm: August 30 Round 1 Winner vs September 5 Winner

FINAL:

September 13 at 7:30 pm: September 6 Winner vs September 12 Winner

Rated M for Mature. Ticket prices are $10 (plus fees) in advance and $14 at the door. Stomping Ground is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for all attendees over 21 years old; patrons are asked to enjoy them responsibly.
