Stomping Ground Throwdown: Head to Head Improv Battles

Join us at Stomping Ground this Fall for the annual SG Throwdown! Watch as local improv teams go head to head and battle it out to crown an all-around improv champion. Two improv teams compete each night and the audience will crown the ultimate winner; so come support your favorite improvisers!

The September 5 bout is between I’m Not Attached To It and The Canadian Mid-Life Missel Crisis.

More About the Teams:

I’m Not Attached to It discovers exciting and strange new worlds pulled from the ether by audience suggestions. Only to have themed wiped away with the flick of a switch by the gods of chaos that are the tech booth operators.

The Canadian Mid-Life Missel Crisis conducts a live performance/interview. The band will play live and answer the questions you’ve always wanted to ask! The Canadian Mid-Life Missel Crisis features Brandon Enriquez, Nicole Brown, Sam Holstrom, Andrew Missel, Hayden McGovern, and Andrew Kennedy.

• August 30 at 7:30 pm: Bag of Dad vs Manic Pixie Dream Show
• September 5 at 7:30 pm: I’m Not Attached To It vs The Canadian Mid-Life Missel Crisis

ROUND 2:

• September 12 at 7:30 pm: Bag of Dad vs September 5 Winner
• September 6 at 7:30 pm: Karaoke Night vs The Drawing Room

FINAL:

• September 13 at 7:30 pm: September 6 Winner vs September 12 Winner

Rated M for Mature. Ticket prices are $10 (plus fees) in advance and $14 at the door. Stomping Ground is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for all attendees over 21 years old; patrons are asked to enjoy them responsibly.
