Songs and Scenes

In this full seven week course, students will jump into creating songs and scenes on stage while learning the fundamentals of song structure, how to create fun and catchy choruses that will get the audience singing along with you and verses with a point of view that really mean something! Discover how to create big characters who sing their emotion at a 10, learn to move with the music, support the scene, and make every song a big musical number. This class includes a student showcase featuring a Musical Armando. All skill levels are welcome, no music or improv experience necessary. This class will be a prerequisite for future advanced Musical Improv courses.

All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future term. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older.

Notice: Class size will be restricted to 10 or lower; additional sections of class will be made available if necessary to reduce class sizes. All precautions will be made to ensure safety of instructors and students. In the event that the start of term must be postponed due to COVID-19 related issues, registered students will be notified in a timely manner and secured a spot in the upcoming term.
