Reminders for All Performers

  • Call time is 30 minutes prior to the start of the show unless otherwise specified by the Producer, Director, Coach, etc
  • Please let your Director, Producer, or Coach know if you’re running late. If you don’t know who that is please email lindsay@stompinggroundcomedy.org and operations@stompinggroundcomedy.org
  • If you are stopped by SILO Parking Attendants when you arrive just let them know that you are going to Stomping Ground Comedy and they will let you through to park.
  • Each performer (except for students performing in student showcases) gets one comp per show. If you need more than one, please check in with your castmates to see if they are using theirs.
    • Please email the name of the person who is comp’d to operations@stompinggroundcomedy.org. If you forget to do this please check it at the Box Office as soon as you arrive for your show and give the name of your comp.
  • We love your guests, but please don’t take them back to the Green Room or into the Theater before it’s open for patrons without permission from Stephanie, an SG Director, or the Manager on Duty
  • If you are not a regular performer at SG please check in the Box Office when you arrive and let them know who you are and that you’re headed back to the Green Room
  • Please do your best to leave the signed SG designated parking spaces for patrons. On incredibly busy nights we will leave the back door propped for those parked farther away
  • If you see something say something: A belligerent patron, a bathroom out of toilet paper, a broken A/C…Let Stephanie, a present SG Director, or the Manager on Duty know if something needs their attention, care, or action.
  • The presale ticket price is less than the price at the door. Let your friends and fans know so they can buy in advance!
  • If you did not receive a copy of the Student and Performer Handbook and Onstage Dress Guidelines they can be found below. All Performers and Student Performers are expected to adhere to these policies and guidelines.
  • Hosting? Here is the SG Hosting Guide

Tech Policy: Any tech elements (slides, special lighting, sound cues, tracks, etc) not sent to and cleared with tech at least 24 hours prior to the show will not be implemented.

Improv groups-

*Please check in with the tech booth immediately upon arrival to walk them through tech for your show even if you’re just doing a montage and need a blackout. We want them to feel prepared for your set and not throw things our Tech staff at the last minute.

*Coaches/Directors- please let tech know if you will be helping to call a blackout

*Please do not attempt to talk to tech while the show is in progress.

Producers/Directors- if your show has any special tech (A/V, sketch, special lighting, etc) please send an email to Tech Trainer/Scheduler Chris Eisterhold at chris@stompinggroundcomedy.org 4-6 weeks prior to your show. Chris will determine if your show needs a Tech Rehearsal, Dry Tech (no actors), or Production Meeting, and will schedule a tech appropriate for your show. This process is required.
