In improv, performers are typically without costumes, sets, and preparation, so the entirety of the story is conveyed through their acting. In this seven week class, students will learn how to make the most of their bodies, voices, and emotions in order to more fully connect with the audience while learning to play authentically and emotionally in imaginary situations. This class includes a showcase. The prerequisite for this class is Level Five Improv at Stomping Ground or graduation from an equivalent training program with permission from the Training Center Director.

About Your Instructor:
Milo Wilder (they/them) has had a lifelong passion for acting. They have been a professional immersion actor since 2018 and also have an extensive background in stage and screen performance. They are a graduate of Grand Valley State University and Stomping Ground’s training program. They find improv to be a great way to inspire and expand natural creativity and hope to teach it to as many folks as possible! You can see Milo performing in KEVIN, Midnight Diner, and Broadway(ish).
This is a 7 week recurring in-person course held Tuesdays, 7-9:30pm starting Tuesday, January 7th . The instructor is Milo Michelle Wilder. All sales are final. Listed price of class does not include Eventbrite’s service fee (3.7% + $1.79) and payment processing fee (2.9%) which will be added to the total price at checkout. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment may be deferred to a future class with TCD approval. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older.
