Don’t Mess with Improv

Grab your best cheap bourbon whiskey and put on your beast pearl-snap shirt and head to Stomping Ground for Texas-sized laughs at Don’t Mess with Improv. The April 8 show features the BONOBOS, Charcuterie, and the One-Man Improvised Musical Fugue State.

C?harcuterie is a fine assortment of cured improvisers performing a completely unscripted show. Prepare your appetite for a variety of comedic delicacies in this unique 20-minute experience. It doesn’t get any cheddar than this!” Charcuterie features Anna Walker, Max Braun, Gabo Espinoza, Kyra Glenn, Reu Daniel Pardo, Josh Grob, Kaitlin Klarer, Katie Ritter.

B?ONOBOS features four Dallas improv veterans doing organic, long-form improv. BONOBOS features Tim Yager, Rachel Farmer, Cameron Goldapp, and Lauren Davis.

C?losing the show will be Fugue State. In Fugue State, one man and one pianist create a one-of-a-kind musical on the spot! Stomping Ground Training Center Director and veteran performer Greg Mihalik improvises a musical by himself with the help of esteemed accompanist and musical director Joshua Diamond. Watch in wonder as Greg takes the audience on a musical journey that follows the path of several unique, larger-than-life characters all played by one man. Come see what the Dallas Observer called “a one-man show that’s actually impressive.”

Ticket prices are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Rated M for Mature/18+. Stomping Ground is BYOB.
