Don’t Mess with Improv featuring Just Happy to Be Here & Fugue State: A One Man Improvised Musical

September 28 @ 9:00 pm 10:00 pm

Grab your best cheap bourbon whiskey and put on your best pearl-snap shirt and head to Stomping Ground for Texas-sized laughs at Don’t Mess with Improv. The September 1 show features Just Happy to Be Here & Fugue State: A One Man Improvised Musical!

Just Happy to be Here is an improv troupe with a flair for physical comedy, slice-of-life scenes, and downright wacky premises. Expect the unexpected as “Just Happy to be Here” delivers a one-of-a-kind experience weaving a tapestry of never-to-be-seen-again scenes. Just Happy to be Here features Pranjal Maheshka, Nathan Poag, Joel Mendez, Andrew Kennedy, Abbie Nevins, Stephanie Jutras, and Brandon Enriquez.?

In Fugue State, one man and one pianist create a one-of-a-kind musical on the spot! Stomping Ground Training Center Director and veteran performer Greg Mihalik improvises a musical by himself with the help of esteemed accompanist and musical director Joshua Diamond. Watch in wonder as Greg takes the audience on a musical journey that follows the path of several unique, larger-than-life characters all played by one man. Come see what the Dallas Observer called “a one-man show that’s actually impressive.”
