Improvise like a pro and get the ultimate improv workout flexing those big character muscles! In this class, students will learn to expand their range of characters and add V.A.P.A.P.O. (Voice, Attitude, Posture, Animal, Prop, Obsession) to their improv toolkit, making big, bold physical and vocal choices to create distinct and memorable characters with a strong emotional point of view and wants. This class will culminate in a Sunday night showcase where students will demonstrate their character flexibility for an in-person audience. This class is recommended for students with at least one year of improv training and performance under their belts.

This is a 2 day weekend intensive on Saturday, August 14th from 12-4pm and August 15th from 3-7pm with a showcase on August 15th at 8pm. The instructor is Cory J. Phillips. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future class. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older. Masks are strongly recommended for students who are not fully vaccinated. Classrooms and common areas will be sanitized prior to each class.
