Stomping Ground THUNDERDOME is a new competition-style improv show where individual improvisers compete to win in the future dystopian arena of Stomping Ground, playing short-form games and scenes until only one improviser is left as the victor! In this three-hour workshop, performers will learn and review the short-form games, get a feel for the flow of the show, and develop the mindset and tropes needed to perform in a show about competition while still practicing ultimate support between performers.
To take this workshop, students must have completed Level One Improv at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater or at another training center or have equivalent training with permission of the Training Center Director (education@stompinggroundcomedy.org)
Students who take this workshop will be eligible to submit to perform in the monthly performance of SG THUNDERDOME on the 1st Friday of every month. However, please note that registration in this workshop is not a guarantee of casting in any individual show.
