Back by popular demand and for one spooky Halloween night only, come out and learn the improvised format that you’ll have to *hear* to believe! The Bat is an amazing soundscape of sounds, words, images, and associations, a performance piece that takes place in the mind of the audience and offers an incredible sense of freedom for the performer. Not just a “Harold in the Dark,” learn the form as taught by Joe Bill from iO and Annoyance Theater in Chicago. A great tool for ensemble building or as a format for performance, you’ll fall in love with The Bat and all its possibilities.

This is an in-person, drop-in class on Sunday, October 31st from 5-9pm CST. The instructor is Greg Mihalik. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future class. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older. Must have a mask or other PPE to attend. This class will be held weather permitting.
