What’s Next? An Improvised Career Workshop & Coaching Session

April 22, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Utilizing Your Improv Skillset in Other Areas of An Entertainment Career

Being an improviser is a unique skill set that can help you succeed in nearly any area of the entertainment industry (as well as many non-entertainment fields). In this two-hour workshop and coaching session, Jamie Campbell will explain how he has leveraged his improv training to work as a nationally touring stand-up comedian, a film and television actor, and screenwriter.

First impressions are important, and participants will get tips on how to prepare submission materials that make a positive impact.. Jamie will answer questions and make recommendations on how to put together a bio, website, reel, press packet, and other materials to give yourself an edge when meeting with talent agencies, casting agents, bookers, and more, and will even take time to give feedback on your current headshot, resume, and other promotional materials.

Jamie will provide one-on-one advice with actionable steps that participants can take in order to move toward their unique, individual goals, and say “yes” to themselves. No experience beyond improv is necessary to take this course.
