Level Up Your Improv with Direct Feedback from Stomping Ground's Artistic Director!

Wednesdays, 7-9:30pmIn Person

Two main ingredients to becoming a seasoned improviser are reps and working with experienced coaches and instructors! In this five-week class, students will receive direct feedback from Lindsay Goldapp, master teacher, director, and Artistic Director of Stomping Ground Comedy Theater. Students will have the opportunity to perform scenes and long form pieces with specific feedback focused on identifying and breaking habits while building on their strengths. Enrollment in this class is purposely capped at 12 students to allow for more direct feedback and to ensure students will have ample stage time. The prerequisite for this class is Level Five Improv at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater.

This course will focus on:

  • Learning to stop talking and really listen in scenes
  • Supporting the scene in all ways, on and off stage
  • Embracing the silence and committing to emotional behavior
  • Incorporating direct feedback about behaviors and habits.
