In this in-person, seven week course, we’ll focus on having fun, being spontaneous, and getting out of your own way, making choices and jumping in with the first thing that comes to mind. Students will learn to work as an ensemble to create stories on stage together. This class includes a student showcase. There is no prerequisite for this class.
This course will focus on:
- Getting to Know Each Other & Recess for Adults
- Spontaneity
- Telling a Story as a Group
- Group Support
- Agreement
- Creating an Environment on Stage
- Emotions & Point of View

- Short Form Improv
Please note that because improv is a team art form, this class requires 8 students for it to make enrollment. We will contact you a week in advance if this class has low enrollment and 24 hours before the class starts to let you know if it doesn’t make. In the event this class does not make, we will issue refunds or transfers to weekend or evening classes upon request.
All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future term. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll, unless otherwise stated.
All class times are Central Standard Time (CST).
