Coaching & Directing Improv Workshop
August 20 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Who says you can’t rehearse improv? In this two day workshop, students will learn the skills they need to effectively guide rehearsals and practices with improv troupes and shows, structuring rehearsals with clear goals that meet the needs of your team. In this hands-on course, students will gain practice leading exercises, providing clear and constructive feedback in notes and useful side coaching, creating deliberately designed lessons that build upon the strengths of your group and target areas of improvement. This intensive workshop is recommended for students with at least one year of training and performance experience in improv and is a prerequisite for anyone wanting to coach or teach at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater. The workshop is Pay What You Can by donation.
