SG After Dark: Late Night Improv Comedy
March 18 @ 10:30 pm – 11:30 pm
W?hen the sun goes down DFW’s best improvisers come out to play…and make you laugh. S?tick around after the 9 pm show or stop by after dinner to enjoy Stomping Ground’s dirty little secret…late-night improv that will have you begging for more…
On March 18 you’ll enjoy the comedic stylings of long-time Dallas improv troupe Don’t Broken, Not Fixin! and improv veterans Mama Tried.
The infamous, now-deceased playwright William Shakespeare once said “All the world’s a stage.” Some thought he was crazy (I mean hey, who isn’t these days!?!), but the all-star roster of humour collective Don’t Broken, Not Fixin! (oft heralded as the Citizen Kane of not-movies) took his words to heart, and now perform every one of their live shows on or near a stage, because hey, that’s life! Just sit back, relax, and let their comedy moon bring the laugh tides to your mouth shore!
Don’t Broken, Not Fixin! features Kent Wicklander, Emily Baudot, Jason Hensel, Isaac Hines, John Logan, Joe Halbouty, Taylor Rexrode, Gefen Kusin-Kline, David Allison, and Raye Maddox.
Closing out the night will be Mama Tried. Join this hilarious team of long-form improvisers as they take you on an organic comedy journey. With seamless entrances and exits, musical undertones, and total transformations from scene to scene, we guarantee you’ve never experienced comedy quite like Mama Tried.
Mama Tried features Chad Cline, Rachel Farmer, Tyler Via, and Tim Yager.
