Stomping Ground presents its Independent Pop-Up Workshop Series! This Pay What You Can series is intended to build community and give students a chance to add new tools to their tool belts for an affordable price. It also allows instructors from a wide range of backgrounds to share their unique skill sets with the community.

All proceeds go towards the Stomping Ground Diversity & Accessibility Scholarship Program, which helps students gain access to high-quality comedy training at the Stomping Ground Comedy Training Center.

Elevate your video production skills with our hands-on workshop focused on creating captivating interview-style videos. Led by an experienced videographer, this workshop provides a mix of pro tips, actionable steps, and hands-on practice sessions to help you master the art of interview-style video production. Whether you’re an aspiring video professional or a seasoned videographer, this workshop is designed to help you take your video production skills to the next level. You can use your own equipment or the equipment provided by the workshop facilitator.

  • Setting up shots, capturing compelling B-roll footage, and shooting for editing

A?bout Tristen:

T?risten has been working in the audio/video industry for five years with experience ranging from professional videographer to motion graphic artist. He has a BS in radio/television from Stephen F. Austin State University. He’s worked in education both as an AV teacher and currently teaches improv at Stomping Ground Comedy. Tristen currently works full-time as a videographer for Wylie ISD.

This is a one-time workshop held on April 16 from 6-9 pm and taught by Tristen Rouse. All sales are final and classes are non-refundable. Training is not affiliated with the Stomping Ground Comedy Training Center. All participants must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Comedy Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll, unless otherwise stated. All class times are Central Standard Time (CST).
