At 6:30 pm Stomping Ground presents Irregular Nonsense, a one-of-a-kind group created with NonPareil Institute. The clever, out of the box stylings of Trenton Lundgren, Trevor Poynor, Jake Raybon, Kevin Sharp, Isaac Pinkus, Rivka Notelovitz, and Bryan Kersey will leave you laughing and inspired. This show is interactive for those who wish to participate and sensory friendly.

They can play pretend and explore interactive story time using costumes, props, puppets, and song. This is a come-and-go event and storytime will begin at 10 am. For this event we will be joined by twig.and.olive with their innovative Imagination Boxes!
This event is open to all ages and is special needs friendly and outside food and drink are allowed and encouraged. Staff will be on hand to encourage play but parents are asked to stay with their child/children. This event is FREE but donations are welcome. No ticket required- just show up and play!
Join us at Stomping Ground Comedy for Pretend Playtime & Storytime, where kids have the opportunity to express their creative side and strengthen their funny bones. They can play pretend and explore interactive story time using costumes, props, puppets, and song. This is a come-and-go event and storytime will begin at 10 am. For this event we will be joined by twig.and.olive with their innovative Imagination Boxes!
This event is open to all ages and is special needs friendly and outside food and drink are allowed and encouraged. Staff will be on hand to encourage play but parents are asked to stay with their child/children. This event is FREE but donations are welcome. No ticket required- just show up and play!

Complete with pre-battle video packages, a judges' table and a ringbell, Punch-Lines takes all the fun of a live event like pro wrestling or ultimate fighting and it turns it into a hilariously harsh comedy war! The rules of Punch-Lines are simple. We start with a coinflip. The person whose name comes first alphabetically gets to call it. The winner of the coin toss gets to decide whether to first “Roast” or “Be roasted”. Each match-up consists of three rounds. The comic who wins two out of the three rounds gets bragging rights in perpetuity forever.

In early June Stomping Ground welcomes Kelly Buttermore and Justin Peters- two of America’s top independent improvisers- for a weekend of shows and workshops.
As the duo From Justin to Kelly, they spend most of their time on tour, performing and teaching at theaters and festivals around the country; since 2014, they have performed and taught over 300 shows and workshops in 27 different states, the District of Columbia, Canada, and international waters. Their signature form is the Walter, a minimalistic monoscene that emphasizes silence, eye contact, and total commitment to the moment. Off stage, they promote a DIY ethos that encourages improvisers to find their own voices and own their own work. They are based in New York City, where they are the founders of Countdown Theater, a roaming pop-up improv collaborative. They are also the producers of the Countdown Improv Festival, the only national improv festival dedicated exclusively to trio, duo and solo improv. They spend a lot of time in the car, talking about the radio.

In early June Stomping Ground welcomes Kelly Buttermore and Justin Peters- two of America’s top independent improvisers- for a weekend of shows and workshops.
As the duo From Justin to Kelly, they spend most of their time on tour, performing and teaching at theaters and festivals around the country; since 2014, they have performed and taught over 300 shows and workshops in 27 different states, the District of Columbia, Canada, and international waters. Their signature form is the Walter, a minimalistic monoscene that emphasizes silence, eye contact, and total commitment to the moment. Off stage, they promote a DIY ethos that encourages improvisers to find their own voices and own their own work. They are based in New York City, where they are the founders of Countdown Theater, a roaming pop-up improv collaborative. They are also the producers of the Countdown Improv Festival, the only national improv festival dedicated exclusively to trio, duo and solo improv. They spend a lot of time in the car, talking about the radio.

"Austin's first marginalized improv troupe", Sugar Water Purple promises to make you "laugh in the face of soul-crushing oppression." Austin Chronicle describes them as a group that provides "meaningful support" for one another while making "damn good improv." Sugar Water Purple features Austin improvisers Kenah Benefield, Devon Coleman, Chris Villafano, Ryan Darbonne, Symply Courtney, and Irielle Wesley.
The evening also features special guest Y'all We Asian, the first and only all Asian-American improv team in Austin. Y'all We Asian features celebrated Austin improvisers Yola Lu, Virgil Shelby, G-Su Paek, and more. Y'all We Asian received the 2019 Ethel Hinkley Award for Outstanding New Improv Troupe from the B . O'mar Finley is a standup comedian, host, and model from Louisiana that has been performing, hosting, and producing comedy for 4 years. After being thrown into standup at a open mic, he quickly fell in love with the art and has never stopped doing it since. With a sense of humor that has been described, “as much introspective as absurd,” he blurs the lines between culture, family, and race. He’s performed in comedy clubs, casinos, and bars all across the South and is the owner/producer of NO SHOW Comedy.
Mikel Albagdadi is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mikel’s act consists of many things including what it is like growing up in the South as an Arab American, his family’s ridiculousness, and everyday struggles of a millennial. When not touring all over the country, Mikel writes satire for a few publications and has garnered over 15000 shares across all social media platforms. He is apart of Louisiana’s premier Improv Group, LATCO. Mikel also has his own youtube channel called Mikel’s Munchies where he produces many types of food related content. He also has a part in the controversial movie produced by Blumhouse Productions (Get Out, The Purge) called The Hunt.

One outfit look with a 15-minute photo session.
One retouched image. After the photo shoot, performers will receive a pool of images to review. Performers will choose one photo to be retouched by the photographer. Photographer will then retouch that image and send to the performer.
Additional retouched images can be purchased for $20 each.
Headshots will be done at Stomping Ground Comedy. Additional looks/outfits can be accommodated by purchasing additional time slots for $50 each. There is one wardrobe outfit allowed per time slot. Each look includes a 15-minute photo session and one retouched image. There is a three look/outfit max per performer. For example, if you want to do three different outfits, you'll need to purchase three different time slots for a total of $150. After you've purchased your slot, you will receive a follow up email closer to the shoot day with your specific time within your hour block.
